Apollo was one of the most complex and important gods of the panoply of 12 who ruled Greek mythology, the many facets of daily life for which he was responsible sun, light and knowledge. Riffing on his strength, Mats Broberg and Johan Ridderstråle, cofounders of Broberg & Ridderstråle Design and Architecture, created the Apollo Pendant Light for the Swedish brand Pholc.
