Description

The VL 56 Pendant Light was designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen, for Folkets Hus in Copenhagen. The building was a complete work by Lauritzen, for which he designed everything from doorknobs and staircases to furniture and lamps. The VL 56 Pendant Light is still found above the bar, in the building which today is a concert venue known as Vega. Both the chrome and brass pendants provide exceptional downward directed light, and the radial perforation pattern softens the contrast between light and darkness, while casting a beautiful pattern onto the surrounding surfaces.
